Dr. HAN Virak, dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Dr. OENG Thaileng, lecturer in charge of scholarship and mobility program visited the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca (UTCN), Romania.
The viist was warmly welcomed by Prof. Dr. Eng. Vasile Vasopa, Rector of UTCN, Conf. Dr. Eng. Nicolae Vlad Burnete, Vice-Chancellor of International Relations and Communication, and Prof. Dr. Eng. Cristina Campian, Director of the ERASMUS+ Office and coordinator of the K171 project with Cambodia. This visit was conducted within the framework of the K171 project, aimed at fostering collaboration between ITC and UTCN.
Throughout the week, the delegation engaged in productive discussions with executives from the Faculty of Construction at UTCN, including Conf. Dr. Eng. Madalina Ciotlaus, Conf. Dr. Eng. Horia Constantinescu, and Conf. Dr. Eng. Marius Buru, as well as Conf. Dr. Eng. Attila Puskas, Director of the Structures Department.
Additionally, the ITC representatives visited various laboratories and learning facilities at UTCN to enhance future collaboration and promote academic mobility opportunities for Cambodian students. This visit marks another step toward reinforcing the partnership between ITC and UTCN, fostering knowledge exchange and research collaboration in civil engineering.
