Overview
Construction sector in Cambodia has been gradually developed and contributed to the economic growth of the country. While this sector has been attracting investments from both national and international investors, human resources in the filed of civil engineering are in high demand.
Civil Engineering Department of the Institute of Technology of Cambodia is working to produce highly competent human resources to contribute in developing our country. Civil engineering major remains popular among young STEM generations, a potential forces for the growth of the country. Our graduated students are fully qualified which facilitate them to get employed or pursue for a master and doctoral degree abroad especially in our partner universities in France, Belgium, Japan etc.

"The construction industry in Cambodia is rapidly developing and is attracting investment from both national and international investors in architectural and infrastructural construction sector, which supports and ensures economic growth. Investments, especially in modern construction, lead to high demand for human resources in the fields of civil engineering, architecture, and transportation. Simultaneously, the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Institute of Technology of Cambodia is improving its curriculum, enhancing national and international collaborations to produce outstanding engineers who contribute to national development. Studying at our faculty is a primary goal for students who learn STEM the potential driver of national economic development. The success of the faculty is proofed by students’ ability to respond to the market's requirements and to pursue master's and doctoral studies abroad in foreign countries such as France, Belgium, and Japan, etc."
