CALOHEA First National Dissemination Meeting in Cambodia

On 11th & 12th May 2023, Measuring and Comparing Achievements of Learning Outcomes in Higher Education in Asia (CALOHEA) National Meeting was held in Cambodia at the Institute of Technology of Cambodia (ITC). The program is co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union. The objectives of the program are:

  • to help all universities achieving equally acceptable quality standards for their academic programs and graduates
  • to allow universities to recognize other universities programs-mutual recognition
  • to help in students’ mobility programs
  • to facilitate the Credit Transfer Initiatives

The objective of the 1st day session is to present general overview and the benefits of the CALOHEA project to the public. The objective of the 2nd day session is to provide details on each CALOHEA Recognition Mechanisms (RM) and its implementation and to gather feedbacks from workshop participants. 

The main point of this meeting is the 3 Key Recognition Mechanisms (RM):

  • RM1: Create and Use Regional Qualification
  • RM2: Student Workload Culture
  • RM3: Implement of Authentic Assessment

The event was successfully completed with participants from various parties such as key policy makers, resource persons, universities executives, CALOHEA institutional team members, academic staffs, students, alumni, employers, and quality assurance agencies.
