Civil Engineering

The program of Civil Engineering Department, Faculty of Civil Engineering, was organized to provide knowledge and skill on analysis and design of the structural elements, topography, planning and costs estimation for construction, and construction of building, road, and bridge. The program also provides the practice on computer-based design to follow up with the development of the industry 4.0. Students will receive an education to work with responsibility and professional ethics in society.

    Career path

    After graduation, the fresh graduated students have opportunity to work in both public and private sectors such as construction company, Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction, Ministry of Rural Development, Ministry of Public orks and Transport, etc. The graduated students have capability to work as:

    • Design engineer for construction of building, road or bridge
    • Quality control engineer for construction of building, road or bridge
    • Quality assurance engineer for construction of building, road or bridge
    • Site manager for construction of building, road or bridge
    • Engineer or manager in laboratory of construction materials
    • Planning engineer
    • Quantity survey engineer 
    • Topography engineer
    • Employer starting their own construction company, etc.

    After graduation, the students also have opportunity for scholarship from partner universities in France, Belgium, Japan, China and other countries in South-East Asia to pursue for Master or Ph.D Degree.
