France: Under the financial support of Erasmus+, the Faculty of Civil Engineering at ITC can send many students this year to study in INSA de Rennes and other partner universities in France. Few staff mobilities have also been executed. Asst. Prof. Dr. HAN Virak, dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering paid a visit to INSA de Rennes from 10th to 16th May 2025. The visit was hosted by Prof. Dr. Aveline Darquennes in INSA de Rennes. The purposes of this visit were
1- Learning about the newly updated courses offered at INSA de Rennes for the Master’s program in MMGCM, which is a dual degree program with ITC.
2- Discussing the research work of Master’s students.
3- Exploring future collaborations and the submission of projects for funding were successfully completed.
On the way back to Cambodia, Dr. Han Virak paid a courtesy visit to Prof. Valérie Nègre of University Paris 1 Thanéon in Paris. The master of architecture in University Paris can be a good partner of the Department of Architectural Engineering at ITC. The meeting let both parties understand each other and know the areas where future cooperation can be started.
